Polypropeen are a thermoplastic polymer that a very full application know, among which Australian bank notes. Polypropeen stand under the older denomination polypropylene also confessed. This last name is still the most current denomination at the producers and consumers of this plastic.

Polypropeen are well resistant against chemical solvents, bases and heartburns.

Polypropeen can be made very pure; this makes it arranged for the semiconductor industry. It has been arranged also resistant against bacterium increase and for this reason for throwing needle and other medical equipment. The polymer can be pressed hot in a form, but gezaagd/be also milled and ordered. Other applications are blow, filter material, and plastic products which a higher quality benodigen then polyethene can its predecessor offer.

Polypropeen seem on polyethene and are also exactly this way cheap, but it is much stronger. Polypropeen can become simply recycled, the products have been marked with the characters PP.

History

Polypropeen have been developed at the beginning of the years 1950. Such as many other inventions in the modern time also polypropeen at several places have been approximately at the same time invented: for polypropeen were that there approximately 9!
